Community involvement is a major part of what we do here at Elite Roofing & Solar. After all, to truly live up to our motto of “roofing done right,” we also need to do right by the community that has given us so much over the years. As a local roofing contractor based right here in Denver, serving the Denver community is near and dear to us.
Today, we wanted to share a bit about our work with SafeHouse Denver over the years. SafeHouse is a critical organization that provides key services and shelter to those experiencing domestic violence, and we’re honored to be a part of furthering their mission.
About SafeHouse Denver
SafeHouse is a nationwide organization providing shelter and critical services to victims of domestic abuse. The organization has multiple chapters with shelters located throughout the country.
SafeHouse Denver was established in 1977 and provides “a full continuum of care to adults, children, and youth experiencing domestic violence.” They provide various services, including counseling, shelter, and community advocacy, working closely with public and community agencies in an effort to improve responses to domestic violence.
Our Work with SafeHouse Denver
Elite Roofing & Solar has supported SafeHouse Denver since at least 2013, marking a decade of sponsorship. Hope Gala is SafeHouse Denver’s annual fundraising event held right here in Denver, and our team has been a sponsor of the Hope Gala at various levels throughout the years. This year, due to our busy summer addressing hail damage throughout the Front Range, we were the Auction Sponsor, which is a higher-tier sponsorship level. We were honored to be a part of Hope Gala’s major success this year, as the event raised nearly $300,000 in support of SafeHouse.
In addition to our support for the gala each year, we’ve also lent our expertise as a top Denver roofing contractor. We’ve provided multiple roof repairs over the years and our team maintains the roof of the Counseling and Advocacy Center, a historic building with a complex roofing system.
