Happy New Year from Elite Roofing: A Look Ahead

The New Year is always an exciting time at Elite Roofing. We like to take this opportunity to reflect on the year behind us and to look to the future. As Colorado’s most trusted roofers, we have so much to be thankful for as we look back. Not only do we enjoy the support of the incredible Colorado community but that of our extensive family of loyal customers.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for your ongoing support and to wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year!

 A Look Back

As we begin planning for 2020, we are compelled to look back at all that we have accomplished in 2019. And who better to help us do this than our new CEO Brie Reis. Let’s take a look at where we’ve come and where we’re headed from Brie’s perspective:

Biggest Accomplishments of 2019

Brie stepped in as CEO in February of 2019. When asked what stands out to her, Brie first pointed to Elite Roofing being named to the 2019 Inc. 5000 List of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America, for the second year in a row; in addition to making the Denver Business Journal 2019 Fast 50. 2019 also marked the year we became completely paperless and our first remote employee began working from home, both accomplishments which are helping reduce our carbon footprint as an organization.

Biggest Challenges of 2019

Not having any major storms proved to be a challenge and an opportunity for the Elite team. While this made our traditional ‘busy season’ a bit less hectic, it also gave us an opportunity to come together as a team and make strategic adjustments. We were able to use this time to instead finetune our processes and become healthier as an organization. As a result, even with no major storm activity, we were able to sustain our revenue in a year that many area roofers were forced out of business.

Looking ahead

Goals for 2020

In 2020 we will be heavily focused on growing our commercial and service departments. While these have always been areas of focus, residential roofing has been our largest. However, in 2020, we aim to leverage our extensive experience and proven SOPs to also dominate the local market in commercial and roofing service solutions.

In addition to our goals as an organization, Brie aims to help our team grow on a personal level. She plans to continue to find new ways to strengthen Elite by encouraging value and self-worth within our team members.

The Customer Experience

While providing unparalleled customer service has always been a core value here at Elite, we are continuously looking for new ways to improve things. As we look to 2020, Brie plans to continue to identify new ways to mitigate technical issues and simplify the customer experience. In addition, we will be dividing our sales department during the busy season to better focus and serve our customers’ needs.

Community involvement in 2020

Giving back is a cornerstone of the Elite brand and has been since we opened our doors in 2006. In 2020, we will continue to identify and fill needs within the community. In addition, we will continue to give to the causes that are near and dear to us including our annual Turkey Drive, Toys for Tots, Back to School programs, Habitat for Humanity and our $100 donations for every new roof we install.

With so much to be thankful for and so much to look forward to, all of us at Elite could not be more excited to kick off 2020. On behalf of all of us here at Elite, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude for your support and wish you a wonderful and prosperous New Year!
